Imagine if the oak tree told itself to stop growing so tall in the sky towering over the other plants and animals. Imagine if the oak keeps itself dwarf afraid to showcase its grandeur and radiance. We would probably laugh at the silliness of it all.

Yet, humans do exactly that.

The only person you have to deal with day in and day out, on a moment-to-moment basis is yourself. Yet, how do you treat yourself?

The relationship you have with yourself is first and foremost.

While in the fall we reap our harvest, it’s important to check the harmony for what’s happening inside us.

What’s been nagging at us for the entire year, that we are now able to deal with?

Whether it’s an unruly closet filled with clutter, an overflowing email in the box or thoughts that don’t serve you, resisting only makes it grow more. What we resist persists!

If there’s one thing you can do right now, this week, starting today, that will make your life lighter and more flowing what would that be?

Perhaps it’s a simple system for laundry.

Perhaps it’s going through a pile of papers and mail.

Perhaps it’s taking yourself to an amazing lunch spot.

Perhaps it’s going for a walk on a beautiful fall day.

It’s easy to get wrapped up in the business of the world around us.

Rebuilding our relationship with ourselves is what makes us thrive and perform better in our day-to-day lives.

What’s the one thing you can do for yourself this week that will make your life flow more easily?

These little things you do for yourself are the vital nutrients that make you evolve and grow daily.

This is what makes you flourish easily with grace.
