Every year whales migrate toward the north or south poles for feeding and mating. Yet, imagine if they didn’t pay attention to their innate senses when the amount of sunlight wanter water temperatures changed. The whales would be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Ever feel that your life doesn’t quite align with where you want to be and what you want to do? It starts to feel a bit yucky. Or, simply, something feels a bit off and you don’t know exactly what it is.

It’s time to come home to your true essence. Our true power lies within us. True freedom comes from its expression.

Every moment is an opportunity to decide who we want to be and how we want to show up. It is not a pity party of victimization when life doesn’t go our way or avoiding what’s really tugging at our hearts. It’s an honest confrontation of what’s really going on inside us and reconciling this with unconditional love and compassion.

A whale that gets separated when all the other whales head to the poles, doesn’t go looking to another sea creature to reinforce their story that they were right for staying where they were and not following their senses. Too often we look to others to reinforce our story, thereby relinquishing our own power of responsibility.

We are in control of our decisions. No one else. If others influence us, it is only because we allow them to.

When we decide to live differently, the world around us begins to change drastically. We have a whole new vantage point. A whole new perception. Too often our misperception is that others change. When in reality, we change and our vantage point is from a new angle.

True freedom is when we take ownership of every facet of our life. The good, the bad, the ugly.

Every experience of your life is a powerful gateway for learning, what’s working, what requires refinement, and what to leave behind altogether. It is through awareness that of seeing every aspect from a bird’s eye view.

Let personal freedom reign!
